The Philadelphia Phillies picked up a win at Citizens Bank Park, knocking off the Houston Astros, 4-3. Starting pitcher Danny Ahlers played a key role in the triumph. Philadelphia reliever Danny Ahlers got the win, raising his record to 7-3. Jason Valenzuela was tagged with the loss. The win makes Philadelphia 42-69.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Philadelphia. That's when Fred Martin hit a run-scoring double off former first round draft pick Jason Valenzuela to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Ahlers.
