Rockies fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

The Colorado Rockies outlasted Jason Bottger and the New York Mets, 10-8. Bottger was impressive in the loss. The New York second baseman was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Colorado reliever Jon Torres was the winner. His record is now 7-6. John Rood took the loss.

Colorado got a knockout punch from Willie Montelongo. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Montelongo said in his postgame press conference.

Colorado now sits at 59-54, while New York falls to 48-63.
