Soggy conditions did not keep Houston and Colorado from playing their scheduled game.

The Houston Astros picked up a win at Colorado Field, dropping the Colorado Rockies, 8-3. Humberto Valenzuela, who is tied for 6th in the AL in strikeouts with 148, was the difference-maker. After today's action, Houston sits at 60-52, while Colorado falls to 58-53.
