Crum Delivers 4-1 Win
Chad Crum was terrific for the Los Angeles Angels in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Pittsburgh Pirates. His performance earned Crum rave reviews. Mike James, who finished 5th in the AL in saves with 31 last year, earned the save for Los Angeles. The Angels go to 56-56, putting them third in the American League West Division.

Crum, the winner, is now 7-8, after putting the clamps on the Pittsburgh offense. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 2 hits, while collecting 11 Ks.

"Chad was magnificent," said Los Angeles manager Alex Guerrero.
