Los Angeles Downed, 7-4, by Reds
|
Cincinnati starter Justin Jenkin pitched well against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-4, in 11 innings. Today's win puts Cincinnati at 64-47, while Los Angeles falls to 64-50.
Cincinnati used a timely hit from Pat Warner to get the win. The left fielder stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Reds ahead, 7-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Jenkin.
