White Sox Deal Red Sox 4-3 Defeat
|
In a tight contest at Fenway Park, the Chicago White Sox edged the Boston Red Sox by the score of 4-3. Chicago designated hitter Dan Roos, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Matthew Emerson earned the save for Chicago, his 12th of the year. The win puts Chicago at 60-55 this season.
Early in the game, Roos had a 3-run home run for Chicago. It was his 33rd home run of the season and put the White Sox on top, 4-1.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Chicago manager Bryce Reigns.
