Bown Goes Deep Twice, Helps Astros Top Brewers, 7-3
The Houston Astros trumped the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-3, at Minute Maid Park. Houston center fielder Paul Bown was terrific. He was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Adam Bailey was the winner. He's now 9-5. The loser was 31-year old center fielder Kyle Brent. Houston goes to 64-51, Milwaukee to 54-60.

In the bottom of the first, Bown had a 3-run home run for Houston. It was his 30th home run of the season and put the Astros on top, 3-0.

Bown said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
