Twins Walk It Off for 63rd Win of Season
The Minnesota Twins topped the Texas Rangers, 6-5, in American League action at Target Field. The standout performance belonged to Minnesota pitcher and Charlotte, North Carolina, native Miguel Toscano. Their 63-54 record puts the Twins second in the American League Central Division.

In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 5-5, two-time All-Star Billy Hinson won it for Minnesota. With a runner on 2nd, Hinson hit a first pitch cutter from Josh Payne for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 6-5 win.

"We'll try to build on that win," Hinson told the Minnesota Daily News.
