Martinko Now 13-11 After Beating Yankees
The Chicago Cubs went home winners at Wrigley Field, thanks in large part to starter Brian Martinko. Martinko stifled the New York Yankees, enabling Chicago to grab the 5-0 win. The win elevated the Cubs to 71-46.

Martinko gave Chicago a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8.2 innings.

"I liked his command," said Chicago manager Vin Calia. "Brian was throwing strikes."
