Nationals Zap Dodgers, 4-3
|
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Los Angeles got a decent performance from pitcher Sean McNees, but it wasn't enough to beat the Washington Nationals. Washington won the Dodger Park contest, 4-3. McNees threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Washington is now 52-66, Los Angeles 64-52.
Jose Orozco, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2092, aided the Washington cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Los Angeles manager Giovanni Ciotti, "let me know."
