The home crowd had a good time watching the Texas Rangers and Tampa Bay Rays get after it.

Joey Boutin had a hand in Tampa Bay defeating Texas by the score of 11-6. Boutin went 3 for 5 at the plate, scoring 2 times and driving in 2 runs. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Tampa Bay.

Dan Wimmer had a big grand slam home run for the Rays in the bottom of the second inning. With Tampa Bay leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he sized up a splitter from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Aaron Jackson and punished it. The result was his 25th home run of the season, which put the Rays on top, 7-2.

"We'll try to build on that win," Boutin told the Tampa Bay Bulletin.
