The Cleveland Guardians beat the Houston Astros, 7-6 -- though it took them 10 innings. Cleveland first baseman Brian Ellis had a pretty good game. He was 2-2 with 2 singles and 4 walks. Cleveland reliever Pablo Iglesias was the winner. His record is now 3-5. Ethan Gordon took the loss. Cleveland, now 58-59, holds down third place in the American League Central Division.

The Guardians got a clutch hit from designated hitter Ramon Carrion. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Guardians.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Carrion told the Cleveland Citizen.
