Rivera Delivers Walk-Off Win for Rangers
The Texas Rangers topped the Cleveland Guardians, 4-3, in 13 innings at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The game was highlighted by the performance of Texas pitcher Kelan Purcell. Aaron Jackson notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 4-2. Texas is now 59-60, Cleveland 41-76.

The decisive blow was delivered by Danny Rivera in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a solo home run off 31-year old left-handed pitcher Erik Nasuti to win the game for Texas. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd was juiced," said Purcell.
