Diamondbacks Stumble, Lose to Mets
The New York Mets downed the Arizona Diamondbacks, 8-4. The hitting star was first baseman Brian Taylor. Taylor was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Mets. Arizona is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 8 in a row.

Josh Anderson had a big 2-run home run for the Mets in the top of the third inning. With New York leading 3-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a slider from Dan Couture, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2104 draft, and punished it. The result was his 25th home run of the season, which put the Mets on top, 5-1.

"This game is going to humble you at times and you've got to man up and deal with it," said Arizona manager Terrell Bailey.
