The Tampa Bay Rays manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Atlanta Braves. The Rays were overpowered by Atlanta starter Jorge Villalona, who hurled his club to victory, 8-0.

"It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Domingo Arredondo said.

Over 9 innings, Villalona blanked Tampa Bay on 1 hit with 1 walk and 10 strikeouts.

"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Villalona said.

"I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."

On his stats sheet for the year Villalona shows a 12-4 record, 24 starts, 142.2 innings, 187 strikeouts and a 2.90 ERA.
