Blue Jays Beat Guardians, 6-3
The Toronto Blue Jays topped the Cleveland Guardians, 6-3, in American League action at Rogers Centre. The standout performance belonged to Toronto pitcher and Cheyenne, Wyoming, native Pedro Sandoval. The win makes Toronto 70-52.

Toronto took a 6-3 lead on Eric Starnes's 23rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Starnes hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Cleveland pitcher Raul Novoa visibly frustrated.

"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Sandoval.
