A 5-RBI performance from the 24-year old first baseman David Ortiz helped the New York Yankees beat the Colorado Rockies, 7-5. The 4th-place Yankees are now 51-71, the Rockies 59-62.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Devin Pagan? The New York shortstop had a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Yankees on top, 7-5. For the game, Pagan had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
