Kerby HR-Happy in 9-3 Win
The Texas Rangers topped the New York Yankees, 9-3, in American League action at Yankee Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Texas second baseman Justin Kerby. The Rangers, at 56-68, sit in 4th place in the American League West Division.

With Texas leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Kerby hit a fastball from Josh Thomas for a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 3-0.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Kerby told the Texas Citizen.
