Late Rally by Angels Locks Up 3-2 Win
The Los Angeles Angels locked up a win at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, knocking off the Texas Rangers, 3-2. On the mound for Los Angeles was left-hander Ryan Wright. He played a major role in the triumph. Los Angeles reliever Rick Whitley was the winner. His record is now 3-4. Montes Galli took the loss. Los Angeles is now 56-68.

Tom Peavey was the walk-off hero for Los Angeles. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Angels left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Wright said.
