In a well-pitched game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Dodgers, pitcher Scott Kocis was fantastic. The St. Louis right-hander helped his team secure the win, 1-0. The Cardinals now have a record of 48-76 with the win over Los Angeles.
Jeremiah Ford, the St. Louis designated hitter, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first inning to make the score 1-0, Cardinals. For the game, Ford was 1-3.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Ford said after the game.
