Strickland Hits Two Dingers, Hustle Win, 9-0
The Las Vegas Hustle downed the San Francisco Giants, 9-0, at Las Vegas Ballpark. Chris Strickland led the way, going 3-for-4 for Las Vegas. Jose Savala picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed no runs on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 11. On the season, he is now 8-3. Las Vegas now has a record of 66-59 with the win.

With Las Vegas leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Strickland hit a 2-run single off San Francisco hurler Men Pimentel. It was the 98th hit of the season for Strickland and put his team ahead, 3-0.

"Chris showed up tonight," said Las Vegas manager Larry Robinson.
