Angels Fall to .500 After 5-4 Loss to Guardians
The Cleveland Guardians and Los Angeles Angels obliged fans looking for a good time.

Cleveland Guardians starter Rob Lewey found his groove in his team's 5-4 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Lewey, the winner, moves to 3-11. He threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks. Pablo Iglesias got credit for the save for Cleveland. It was his 22nd of the year.

The Angels had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Guardians going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 2110 Javier Serrato Player of the Year Award winner J.J. Kirby came to the plate. Kirby hit a 2-run double on a first pitch sinker from Los Angeles hurler Curtis Moore. It was Kirby's 25th double of the year.

"Good to pick up this win," Kirby said.

Cleveland is 48-77 and Los Angeles, with the loss, 63-63.
