Cubs Use Late Surge to Win
A 4-RBI performance from Jimmy Esposito, who is on pace for 69 RBI this season, helped the Chicago Cubs beat the Las Vegas Hustle, 7-5. Scott Andrus snagged the win in relief. He goes to 7-2 on the season. Bob Nunez suffered the loss. Andrew Gray collected his 40th save.

Esposito had an important at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Cubs went on to win.

"We've got great fans," said Esposito. "I hope they got what they came for."

Chicago sits in second place in the National League Central Division at 72-54.
