Orioles Lose to Cardinals, 7-2
|
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the St. Louis Cardinals and Baltimore Orioles.
The St. Louis Cardinals dumped the Baltimore Orioles, 7-2, in large part due to third baseman Justin Brown. On the day, Brown went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Cardinals. St. Louis is now 67-63, Baltimore 72-58.
In the first inning, Brown had a 3-run home run for St. Louis. It was his 32nd home run of the season and put the Cardinals on top, 3-0.
"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Brown.
