Jose Nuncio knocked in 4 runs to help Las Vegas beat Pittsburgh, 10-2. The right fielder collected 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Las Vegas pitcher Matt Orona got the win, upping his record to 9-4. Monte Acosta got the loss. Las Vegas, at 78-53, holds down second place in the National League West Division.

With Las Vegas leading 2-0 in the top of the second, Nuncio came up to bat against Pittsburgh pitcher Scott Connell. Nuncio hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 24th home run of the season put the Hustle on top, 5-0.

Pittsburgh manager Merlyn Evans called the blowout loss "nothing to write home about."
