The Los Angeles Dodgers got a superb performance from pitcher Robby Thienes. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Las Vegas. The Hustle won the game, 2-1. Thienes threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Mason Martindale, credited with the win in relief, is now 6-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings. The second-place Hustle lifted their record to 73-60.

Las Vegas used the timely hitting of Bryan Tillman to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Hustle on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We're rolling right now," said Tillman. "We're playing good baseball."
