Globe Life Park in Arlington was the site for American League action featuring the Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Angels.

The Los Angeles Angels trumped the Texas Rangers, 10-4, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Los Angeles designated hitter Sho Yasunaga was terrific. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Los Angeles reliever Tim Demaree, now 4-7. The loser was Keith Strickland.

Los Angeles needed the clutch hitting of Randy Zito to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Angels on top, 6-4. For the game, Zito had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Zito.

The Angels move to 63-71 with the win, while the Rangers drop to 62-74.
