New York picked up a win at Citi Field, bumping off the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-4. Pitcher James Spencer was a major reason the Mets emerged victorious. Guillermo Padron recorded the save for New York, his 13th of the season. Today's win puts New York at 62-73, while Milwaukee falls to 52-83.

Matt Williams, who is on pace for 82 RBI this season, aided the New York cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder was 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
