Texas got a terrific game from third baseman Scott Pabian. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Los Angeles, 6-5, in 10 innings. Pabian was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win went to Jaden Moore in relief, making him now 8-5. Mike Poole took the loss for Texas. Los Angeles is now 74-61.

Gary Dennis provided a timely hit. The Los Angeles center fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the tenth inning to put the Angels on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"This game showed the grit and grind of our guys," said Dennis.
