Harrison Now 5-11 After Subduing Giants
|
Oakland picked up a win at O.co Coliseum, toppling the San Francisco Giants, 5-3. Pitcher Dylan Harrison was one of the reasons the Athletics triumphed. Freddy Hernandez picked up the save, his 19th. The win has Oakland at 51-84.
Harrison, a native of Prescott, Arizona, was dealing all game. He kept San Francisco hitters off-balance, while giving the Athletics 7 quality innings. Harrison threw 111 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 8.
"I liked his command," said Oakland manager Jon Pearson. "Dylan was throwing strikes."
