The Cincinnati Reds downed the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-4. The hitting star was first baseman Adam Powers. Powers went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times for the Reds. The win for the Reds raised their record to 83-53.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Cincinnati designated hitter Michael Draper, facing Jesse Aguiar, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Reds the 5-4 win.
