Brewers Slap 4-1 Loss on Reds
|
The Milwaukee Brewers topped the Cincinnati Reds, 4-1, in National League action at Great American Ball Park. The standout performance belonged to Milwaukee pitcher and Easton, Massachusetts, native Ray Dunham. The Brewers sport a record of 53-83.
Arturo Gonzales, who led the NL in batting average with .339 in 2105, had a direct impact on the outcome. Gonzales contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Milwaukee up, 2-0.
"Ray is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Milwaukee manager Danny Post.
