The Los Angeles Angels got a magnificent effort from pitcher Chad Crum, who kept Seattle hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Angels win at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The Mariners, at 56-81, have lost 5 in a row.

William Landeros helped out the Los Angeles cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.

"We did just enough to win," Landeros said.
