Giants Suffer 8-2 Road Loss
The Los Angeles Dodgers bested the San Francisco Giants by a score of 8-2, with right fielder Josh Parham getting the main credit. On the day, Parham was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Dodgers. James Murano earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record is now 4-1. The third-place Dodgers now sit at 74-64.

The Giants had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Dodgers going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old shortstop John Kieler came to the plate. Kieler hit a 2-run double on a 1-1 fastball from San Francisco hurler Ben Bower. It was Kieler's 24th double of the year.

Said losing manager Michel Alexandre Cauchon: "Give the Dodgers credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
