Reds Procure 7-1 Victory

Justin Jenkin brought his A-game to help Cincinnati defeat the Chicago Cubs, 7-1. Neal Kinch closed the game out for Cincinnati, earning his 1st save. The first-place Reds go to 86-53.
The Reds got a big at-bat from left fielder Pat Warner. For the game, Warner went 2 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times. In the top of the second, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 16th home run of the season gave Cincinnati a 1-0 lead.
"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Warner.
