The Colorado Rockies did just enough to sneak past the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-4, at Miller Park. Colorado second baseman Hugo Sanchez, in particular, had a standout performance. The win belongs to Chris Colbert in relief. His record improves to 15-7. Adam Dungey took the loss for Milwaukee. Colorado is now 79-60, while Milwaukee is 59-80.

Sanchez contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Colorado in the top of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Sanchez took a sinker from Adam Dungey and stroked the home run to right. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Rockies to leap in front, 3-1.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Sanchez.
