Jim Bush, who finished 5th in the NL in wins with 15 in 2106, was locked in. The left-hander led the Las Vegas Hustle to a 4-3 win against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Las Vegas Ballpark. Mason Martindale earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 2-3. Ryan McLellan closed it out for Las Vegas, earning his 38th save.

Las Vegas took the lead, 4-3, on Chris Strickland's 31st home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Los Angeles pitcher John Cronin in the bottom of the eighth.
