Nakahama Propels Chicago to 1-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Chicago Cubs and the Cincinnati Reds, 24-year old left-handed pitcher Fumikazu Nakahama proved to be the difference. The Chicago left-hander earned props for his performance in the 1-0 Cubs win. With the win, Chicago upped its record to 84-56.
Nakahama allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings for the Cubs. With the win, he is 2-0 with an ERA of 1.62.
"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said Nakahama.
