Guardians Get Clutch Win, 6-5
The Cleveland Guardians did just enough to nip the Texas Rangers, 6-5, in 10 innings. Cleveland second baseman Gustavo Franco, in particular, had a standout performance. Cleveland reliever Billy Harp picked up the win. Bill Hanley took the loss for Texas. Cleveland is in last place in the American League Central Division with a record of 57-84.

Kyle Allen came through with a big-time hit for Cleveland. The third baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It took some blood and sweat, but we got what we were after," said Guardians manager Danny Jaime.
