Guardians Get Past Baltimore, 6-5
The Cleveland Guardians picked up a win at Progressive Field, knocking off the Baltimore Orioles, 6-5. Starting pitcher Dustin Brace was a big reason why. Kurt Lawson picked up the win in relief for Cleveland, while Adrian Scudder took the loss. The Guardians now have a record of 46-96.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mike Davenport in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring triple off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Adrian Scudder to win the game for Cleveland. The home crowd went nuts.

"We need to get rid of the bad mojo," said Brace. "Maybe this win will help."
