Astros Pull Out Late Win, 4-3
The Astros grabbed a win, 4-3, at Rogers Centre, overcoming a fine effort from Toronto pitcher Billy Demeter. Demeter went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Houston reliever Johnny Gibson picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Jay Courtney took the loss. The Astros upped their record to 65-77.

Willie Valiente came through with a big-time hit for Houston. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Valiente said after the game.
