Phillies first baseman Henry Quiroz left his mark on his team's 9-5 win over the San Francisco Giants. Quiroz was 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for Philadelphia in the contest. The win gives Philadelphia a season record of 82-62.
In the bottom of the sixth, the Phillies grabbed the lead when Quiroz hit his 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double off Ron Boone made it 6-5, Philadelphia.
