Cubs Lose Contest, 10-4
The Houston Astros handed the Chicago Cubs a loss at Minute Maid Park. The final score was 10-4. Zack Baize made the highlight reel for Houston. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 3 runs and drove in 1. He also added 2 bases on balls. The Astros improved their record to 92-54 by beating Chicago.

The Cubs had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Astros going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old left fielder Travis Gibb came to the plate. Gibb hit a 2-run home run on a 1-1 slider from Chicago hurler Jim Gamblin. It was Gibb's 28th home run of the year.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Gibb told the Houston Citizen.
