Brewers Need Extra Innings to Top Dodgers, 4-3
|
There was no shortage of dramatics at Miller Park.
Mark Bevan powered the Milwaukee Brewers to a win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. The final score was 4-3. The Milwaukee left fielder, who finished 3rd in the NL in on-base percentage with .403 in 2102, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Milwaukee, at 64-81, holds down last place in the National League Central Division.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, Bevan hit a circle change from Luis Luciano for a run-scoring double. The Brewers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Bevan.
