Blue Jays Get Clutch Win Versus Minnesota
Thanks in large part to first baseman Vic Rivera, the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Minnesota Twins, 5-4. Rivera was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2. Toronto is now 81-65, 2 games up in the American League East Division.

Toronto took a 5-4 lead on Joe Ray's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Ray hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Minnesota pitcher Roberto Aranda visibly frustrated.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Rivera said.
