A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels.

Elza Gravito added some punch to the Houston offense, helping them outmuscle the Los Angeles Angels, 14-7. In the game, Gravito, who is on pace for 71 RBI this season, was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Jon Mendez claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 4.2 innings. His record stands at 1-1.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Gravito hit a 2-run home run off Miguel Montoya. It propelled the Astros into the lead, 6-4.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Gravito told the Houston Citizen.

The Astros improved their record to 68-79 by beating Los Angeles.
