The home crowd had a good time watching the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels get after it.

Kenneth Cluett, who leads the AL in wins with 15, was terrific for the Los Angeles Angels in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Houston Astros. His performance earned Cluett rave reviews. In 6.1 innings, Cluett surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed no runs.

Scott Hoagland, who is on pace for 70 RBI this season, chipped in a solo home run for Los Angeles in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Los Angeles manager Keith Orchard.

With the win, Los Angeles upped its record to 74-74.
