The Colorado Rockies trumped the Chicago Cubs, 8-0, at Wrigley Field. Colorado first baseman Danny Lindblom was terrific. He belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Leo Hard sewed up the save, his 1st. The triumph puts Colorado at 82-66 for the season.

Colorado used the hitting of Jon Hall to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Rockies on top, 3-0. For the game, Hall had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"Glad to go home with a win," said Hall.
