White Sox Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Cincinnati
|
The Chicago White Sox topped the Cincinnati Reds by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Joey Aimone. Aimone went 3-5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs for the White Sox on the day. The White Sox move to 72-76 with the win, while the Reds drop to 98-50.
Chicago used the bat of Josh Densmore to get the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the White Sox ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
Aimone told a local reporter: "My job is to go out and play as hard as I can."
