Blue Jays Win Thriller, 9-7
The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Minnesota Twins, 9-7, in 11 innings. Much of the credit belonged to third baseman Dave Steinhart, who belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Blue Jays. The second-place Blue Jays are 77-71.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Steinhart hit a cutter from Chris Gurr for a 2-run home run. The Blue Jays, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Steinhart. "I like it."
