Desper Excels in 7-6 Toronto Win
|
The Toronto Blue Jays bested the New York Yankees, 7-6, at Rogers Centre. Dennis Desper was one of the standouts. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The victory gives the Blue Jays a record of 102-48.
Early in the game, Desper had a 3-run home run for Toronto. It was his 43rd home run of the season and put the Blue Jays on top, 3-0.
