Padres third baseman Alfredo Sanchez left his imprint on his team's 9-4 win over the Las Vegas Hustle. Sanchez slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for San Diego in the contest. The Padres saw their record improve to 88-62.

Mike McNamara, who finished 5th in the NL in wins above replacement with 5.9 last year, came through for San Diego with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. The center fielder went 3 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 runs batted in.

"Very good win for our guys," said Sanchez.
